Ellingson Companies is Expanding!

On May 20th Ellingson Companies announced a $2.5 million dollar expansion project for the creation of a new 20,000 square foot facility in West Concord. “In a time when many businesses are struggling to stay open, Ellingson Companies is proud to be expanding,” said Roger Ellingson, President and CEO of Ellingson Companies. Representatives from the USDA, Steele Waseca Cooperative Electric, the City of West Concord and a variety of State and National Elected officials or their representatives were on hand for the announcement.

The new facility will house Ellingson Companies new E/One service center. This new service center will be one of two in the State of Minnesota, will allow Ellingson Companies to expand their community sewer work and provide a needed service for E/One owners across the region. The project is expected to create or save 21 jobs in the area and is slated for completion by the end of August 2009.

Steele-Waseca Cooperative Electric was awarded $740,000 through the Rural Economic Development Loan (REDL) program and is re-lending the funds at zero interest to Ellingson Companies to help assist in the construction of the new 20,000 square foot building.

Roger Ellingson concluded, “I want to thank everyone at the USDA, Steele-Waseca Cooperative Electric and everyone who helped make this project possible. I also want to thank all of our employees at Ellingson Companies for their hard work and dedication. Without your hard work none of this would be possible.”
